Being an Android developer myself and having worked on similar apps, let me breakdown permissions required by one of the highly ranked android apps.
Today, the app in our lab is “Vault” by Wafer Co.
The app is more than 100 mil downloads, and has been live on Google Play Store for over a decade.
The app, as the name suggests, is a vault that helps you hide content on your phone.
Say you’ve got a private photo that you don’t want anyone to look on, not even accidentally, so what you do?
You move the photo to this vault and it is never to be found.
The app is pin protected!
That’s the core functionality of this app. But there are plethora of other features that not necessarily needed.
But anyway,
